Hi Darby - love reading your substack posts and your new book! As a psychologist, father to two grown sons and grandfather to two grandsons, your work has tremendous relevance for not only, my professional clinical practice, but also my personal life. I particularly enjoyed reading about the neurological changes that happen in a man's brain when they become fathers. I wish this research was accessible when I became a first time father 37 years ago! For Father's Day - my wife and I gave our older son your book, in audible form so he can listen to it on his commute to work since he and wife are raising two sons. I'm planning on highlighting your book in a future blog post that I write for Psychology Today since there's so much relevance to what I find in my clinical practice. My recent blog was on the Unexpected Gifts of Grandfatherhood - https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/bridging-three-generations/202606/the-unexpected-gifts-of-grandfatherhood.
I can’t believe you went to Roanoke. Love that. It’s a cute little city.
This sounds amazing
What amazing press! And conversations with some of the most thoughtful people: Matt Yglesias, Dax Shepherd, Derek Thompson. Incredible.
I feel incredibly lucky! I did not predict that I would get the chance to talk to a single one of these folks, let alone all of them.

Wow, thanks so much! I’m really glad to be connected! I hope your son finds the book to be helpful
So cool. I loved your chat with Matt, by the way!

What a wonderful tour you have had. Thank you for sharing it with us. 🩷
I had a therapy client yesterday mention your work without any prompting. You are in the discourse! So glad it's gaining so much traction.
Wow!! That’s really amazing to hear- thanks for telling me!
